Personal Project Guides
I have had many requests to travel teach and I would love to draw and paint with each of you personally. Since it is not possible, I have decided to introduce Personal Project Guides. The first will be a detailed pen, ink and watercolor painting of my new cat Tigerlily. It includes five pages of detailed instructions, the helpful hints I would want you to know if I were standing by your side while you worked. Also included are a supply list, a design guide to draw or trace from, an inking guide, four close-up step-by-step colored photos of the face with emphasis on the eyes, and two full length colored photos of the project as it looks during the first painting steps and how it looks finished. This 9" x 12" project is not quick and easy, but it is designed so that beginners can succeed. I hope that it will provide you with many hours of art pleasure.
